Chacombe Park Care Village Environment

Our Estates staff oversee the upkeep of the 20 acres of landscaped parkland surrounding Chacombe House, the mews and the care home.

Chacombe Park is situated in a peaceful location, surrounded by mature trees, reached by a private driveway.

The grounds are fully accessible by wheelchair users and have several terraced areas. Indeed, most ground floor bedrooms have doors which open onto individual terraces, whilst some on the first floor have their own private balcony.

Part of the care home, including the lounge known as the 19th Hole, overlooks Cherwell Edge Golf Course, which residents may use free of charge by prior appointment.

The grounds include two large ponds which attract a variety of wildlife.

During the summer months various activities and functions are held on the lawns for residents and their visitors. Croquet takes place on one of the lawns and there are a number of shady areas where residents and their visitors can sit and take afternoon tea.

"" Badby Park Care Village

Given the demand for care and accommodation for elderly people with dementia, the company is developing a new care village at Badby, near Daventry in Northamptonshire, some 12 miles from Chacombe. The main building is a Georgian ex-monastery which is in the process of conversion, and state of the art accommodation will be constructed in an adjoining wing. Completion is expected in late summer 2008. Whilst the facilities will be appropriate to the client group the care village will enjoy the same degree of luxury and attention to detail that characterises Chacombe Park. If you would like to be kept informed of progress please let us know and we will gladly add you to our mailing list.
